Ajani’s Bayview Orchards at Dromana in Victoria has been working with Agrinova for the installation of hail netting at its new facility.

Agrinova has completed Stage 1 of the hail protection development, delivering 14ha of bungee-style hail-release structures.

The system incorporates integrated trellising, with the trellis framework utilising the same structural posts as the hail support system to optimise material efficiency and structural alignment.

Stage 2, covering an additional 10ha, is scheduled to start soon.

And the company’s orchard manager James Gaffney says the end result has been nothing short of exceptional.

Installation process

He says the installation of the hail netting was conducted with remarkable attention to detail.
