Following a sold-out Congress in Adelaide in 2026, Citrus Australia is introducing a new alternating format for its flagship industry event.

From 2027, the Australian Citrus Congress will alternate between a major city and a regional growing area, with the inaugural Australian Citrus Congress: Field Series to be held in Mildura, March 2-4 2027.

The field series will place a greater focus on practical, orchard-based learning, featuring farm visits, hands-on technology demonstrations and firsthand insights into innovation and production practices.

Building on the success of the congress's first field day in 2025, the new format will retain all the key elements delegates value, including expert speakers, workshops, an exhibition precinct, networking opportunities and the annual Citrus Industry Awards Dinner.
